Previously known as the Poop Deck, Captain James Hunter opened the Ashford Arms Irish Pub in 1990. The Ashford Pub is the premier Irish pub on Houston's west side. Located in the heart of the Houston's "Energy Corridor", the pub has become like a home away from home for many of the Irish, English, and Scottish that are employed by the energy companies in the area. The Ashford Pub is also quite popular with the local crowd, young and old alike.
There are televisions in almost every corner of the pub so if you need a place to catch the Astros, Texans, or Rockets come down and join us. Additionally, if there is a soccer match that you are interested in watching the staff will be more than happy to see what they can do for you. Afterwards get in a game of darts or pool.
